The tiny cottages we artists are privileged to live in while at Cill Rialaig, sit between a rocky little mountain, on crags reaching down to the sea, which sucks and swirls around them.
The rhythms of the water seen from above, the rocks, the Skelligs as approached from the water – the exchange, the dialogue between land and sea awed me. Ancient, powerful sources of life.
